Raisins contain boron (at a concentration of 2.2 mg/100 g), an element important for growth and which may also play a preventive role in osteoporosis and arthritis.
They also contain vitamins of the B complex such as thiamine, pyridoxine, riboflavin, folic and pantothenic acid.
Raisins do not contain enough vitamin C, but this is true of almost all dried fruits
